The Baker University athletic department is now partnering with one of the most renowned college career networking programs.
Career Athletes is the most populated networking program of current and former student-athletes in the nation.
“Career Athletes is actually a program that is affiliated with the NAIA that helps student-athletes find internships and job opportunities,” Theresa Yetmar, associate athletic director, said.
Along with other NAIA schools, Career Athletes also works with athletic departments of NCAA schools and junior colleges.
Since Career Athletes was created in 1998, more than 250,000 collegiate athletes have used the program to help themselves find job opportunities.
Baker student-athletes will be able to find jobs easier with the help of former student-athletes and mentors in the program and the training and development seminars that Career Athletes provides.<br/>&#160;
