Both the men’s and women’s Baker tennis teams competed in the HAAC fall tournament Friday and Saturday.
The tournament, which focused on individual play, gave both teams a chance to see how Baker’s athletes match up to other players in the conference.
“Our idea here is to go in, test some teams and see how our practices are paying off in terms of skills,” head coach Bruce Anderson said.
Despite both teams missing a few key players over the weekend, Anderson was able to see a glimpse of the teams’ abilities as they head into the fall season.
“I was very happily surprised,” Anderson said. “I am supremely proud of both of these teams at this point. They played extremely well over the weekend.”
