The Baker University women’s golf team is looking forward to adding on to the success it had in the fall season.
The women’s team will begin its season by taking the top five on the team to a tournament at Missouri Valley College April 5-6.
Head golf coach Karen Exon has very high expectations for the women’s team after winning two of the three tournaments from the fall season.
Exon is excited to see sophomore Stacy Yowell and freshmen Haley Knowland and Bristol Brandt perform after a lot of work in the weight room in the winter. She expects the three, combined with senior Amelia Harshfield and juniors Danielle Weimholt and Krista Yaktine, to make a tough team.
"We are going to be challenging for first in the conference," Exon said. "I'll be disappointed with anything less than second."<br/>&#160;
