Teams of nine will be gathering at 1 p.m. Sunday at Collins Center in an effort to raise money to donate toward breast cancer awareness.
Zeta Tau Alpha sorority is hosting Kick it to Cancer, an annual kickball tournament.
“As of now, we have about five teams (signed up) and we’re expecting a couple more with some late registrations,” freshman Milan Piva, service chairman of the event, said.
Each team had to pay a registration fee of $45.
While there is not a set monetary goal for the event, Piva said it has been “pretty successful” in the past.
Piva said she is excited for the kickball tournament and hopes everyone involved has a good time.
“I’m looking forward to just having fun at the kickball tournament,” she said.
