Baker’s fifth annual Career Exploration Fair took place Wednesday from noon to 3 p.m. at Collins Center.
Area employers and over 20 alumni enlightened students with information about different career paths at the event.
Susan Wade, director of the Career Development Center, said the Baker alumni wanted to help current Baker students learn more about their careers.
Those who attended could discover occupations and internships and network with Baker graduates.
“It was interesting,” freshman Jose Baquerizo said. “It’s going to help me find internships for the next couple of summers.”
Some careers represented were Hallmark and Crown Center Redevelopment Corporation, Cerner Corporation, Monticello Animal Hospital, the Peace Corps, Farmers Insurance, Career Athletes and several others.
"I'm pleased with what we did. There were so many cool people that wanted to talk to the students," Wade said. "I love, and get excited, when people love what they do."<br/>&#160;
