Baker University Student Senate met Tuesday and though it once again failed to meet quorum, all other senate issues were business as usual.
Mungano president Kelly Vaughan persuaded two senators to participate in Mungano’s third annual Date Auction at 7 p.m. Thursday.
“All the proceeds are going toward the Habitat for Humanity,” she said.
Vice president Ashley Locklin reminded class officers they need to be working on their class projects.
“(All class officers) are supposed to do one community service project and one social event with their class each semester,” she said. Senator Wes Mikel said the Baker University Student Education Association is sponsoring Operation Christmas Child.
“You fill a shoe box (with toys), and then bring $7 for shipping and then you get a label to mark it for a boy or a girl and then what age group it’s appropriate for,” he said.
