Call them appetizers, snacks, starters or hor’dourves. Whatever the name, they’re fun to make.
Many of my favorite recipes are the bite-sized goodies often served at parties, or shindigs if you will.
Oddly enough, a handful of those recipes come from the same family, the Browns, my second family.
I guess they just know their way around the kitchen, because very rarely do I come across a food of theirs I don’t enjoy.
One of my favorite snack foods has been Lisa’s Fillo Cups.
I’ve had these time and time again, but decided to make them myself for the first time for a New Year’s Eve party and have since made them multiple times.
And let me tell you, not only are they delicious – they’re super easy and fun to make too.
Fillo Cups have gone over really well at every party I’ve seen them served at, including those I’ve served at myself.
The guys seem to especially enjoy them, because of the “crunchy goodness” they often rave about. The Fillo Cups get crispy and flaky when you bake them to give the cups a little crunch.
I like the appetizer because it adds a little spice to any party and the usual snacks served.
The sausage and taco seasoning along with the corn creates a Southwestern-like flavor that makes your mouth water.
I never seem to make enough, as they're always the first to go at a party.<br/>I especially enjoy being able to make the recipe to suit anyone's taste.I especially enjoy being able to make the recipe to suit anyone's taste.

If you like spicier foods, use all salsa ranch dressing and throw in some extra spice. If you like mild foods, use all original ranch dressing.
Or if you’re like me and enjoy a little kick, but don’t want to sweat when you eat, use half of each dressing.
Whatever your taste buds enjoy, Fillo Cups are sure to please them.

Brown sausage and drain grease. In a bowl combine sausage, corn, cheese and taco seasoning. Cook at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbling.
Lisa’s recipes have yet to let me down, and I’m sure you’ll be saying the same after you try this one.
