Ruth Sarna, director of student health services, has been chosen as the winner of the 2010 Ollie B. Moten Award, which recognizes American College Health Association members that have made a profound impact on the university they assist.
Sarna will be recognized June 3 in Philadelphia during a dinner at the ACHA’s yearly meeting.
She has provided care at Baker University for 21 years and is being honored for her dedication to students and the university.
"I think she deserves it after the hard work she does. She supports every sports team at this university and shows her involvement," freshman Taylor Edging said. "There's no one she won't talk to. She gets along with everybody and that makes her a good nurse."<br/>&#160;
