Police were called to Irwin Hall, on Baker University’s Baldwin City campus, at approximately 3:30 a.m. Sunday morning after resident assistants reported gun shots being heard outside the building.
Five bullets struck the north door to the dormitory, being fired through the glass portion of the door.
Steve Rottinghaus, Baker University public relations director, released a statement in an e-mail sent to the Baker community Sunday morning.
“There were no injuries,” Rottinghaus said. “The safety of our students is our top priority and we will continue to assist law enforcement in their investigation.”
