With a whopping 41 names on the roster, the Baker men’s wrestling team is not letting its first-year status hold anyone back.
Headed by coach Jimmy May, the team is planning to start practices by the beginning of September.
Wrestlers will compete in fall matches beginning in November, with their main part of the season falling in January and February.
As a first year program, May said his main goal for the team is to build a strong foundation from which to build upon in the upcoming years.
"We have some good student athletes and we are excited about the kids we do have," May said. "They are just going to be young and they are going to have to pay their dues just like any other young first year program."<br/>&#160;
