The upcoming production of “It Runs in the Family,” was chosen for the senior capstone project and Patti Heiman, instructor of mass media and communication, is eager to direct it. The play takes place in a hospital lounge and revolves around an out-of-control lie.

“The play is a farce that takes the form of a comedy,” Heiman said. “The farce starts with a lie and then conflict occurs while it begins to snowball and become bigger and bigger.”

With this being the senior capstone show, seniors were given first priority when it came to casting.

“I am looking forward to being able to work with everyone as an ensemble,” Whittaker said.
