The Baker men’s golf team traveled to the Lindenwood Fall Invitational Monday and Tuesday at Crescent Farms Golf Club in St. Louis.
The Wildcats finished tied for last place after shooting rounds of 335, 350 and 326. Freshman Mason Dick led the team with rounds of 82, 86 and 81.
Grand View University won the tournament with rounds of 306, 301 and 301. <br/>Five HAAC teams competed, Lindenwood University, Missouri Valley College, Evangel University, Graceland University and Baker, with Lindenwood finishing the highest out of the group at seventh. “It was tough conditions out there, but everyone mentally doomed themselves,” graduate assistant Adam Gotsche said. “The wind was blowing the other direction from the predominant way the wind blows at that course. It mixed a lot of people up.”
Baker will play its final tournament of the fall, hosted by Ottawa University, Wednesday and Thursday at Eagle Bend Golf Course in Lawrence.
