Sometimes bad things happen to good people, which is the message in Baker University’s theatre production of “The Diviners.”
“All of the characters are honest people and it is just kind of, bad things happen,” senior Courtney West said.
“The Diviners” is West’s 15th production at Baker.
“For the most part, this is a lot of people’s first or second show at Baker,” West said.
Some of the leads include sophomore Ryan Hodges and sophomore Abby Jones and Baker Orange staff member Shawn Deegan.
“(We are just) leading by example for the most part and (doing) little things to ensure that this is a professional environment and it is treated as such,” West said.
“The Diviners” opens tonight and will continue with shows at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday as well as at 2 p.m. Sunday in Rice Auditorium. The show runs for about two hours including intermission and admission is free.
