The Baker University men’s soccer team fell to Lindsey Wilson College 2-0 in the NAIA National Tournament semifinal game Friday in Orange Beach, Ala.
Lindsey Wilson was first to score in the match with 36 minutes left in the first half.
Baker trailed Lindsey Wilson 1-0 until the Blue Raiders scored again with 27 minutes left in the second half of the game.
Despite Baker’s effort to make a comeback, the Wildcats were unable to overcome the two-goal deficit.
The Baker University Wildcats went 20-2-1 overall and 6-1 in the conference.
Defending National Champion Hastings College will compete with Lindsey Wilson College for the NAIA National title at 7p.m. Saturday in Orange Beach, Ala.
