The Baker University Marketing Department earned multiple awards in the Council for Advancement and Support of Education District 6 Awards for 2012.
Every year, the marketing department comes up with different advertising ideas to market the campus through different avenues. This includes anything from brochures in graphic design to a multimedia project.

With a year-long window to submit projects, the members of the department decide how they can publicize Baker University as a well-known college.
Baker competed against eight other states including Ohio, Nebraska and Missouri.
The University brought back two gold awards in Excellence in Multimedia and Excellence in Communications. Baker also took home two silvers in Fundraising and Overall Publication, as well as a bronze in Graphic Design. The department was a sweepstakes award winner in the 2,000 to 5,000-student enrollment category, too.
“We have a pretty strong history with doing well in this event,” Public Relations Director Steve Rottinghaus said. “We are fortunate to have a talented, experienced team in marketing communications.”
