Nine freshmen participate in volunteer activity

I pretty much just did it because it was on my email, but also because I did something like it back home in Texas.

We packed food for kids pretty much. We just put food inside of bags, which then they put into backpacks to send home over the weekend.

The one related to that, we packed food for families, like, for Christmas; more holiday related things. I’ve done a lot of things for Special Olympics, different sports like basketball, track and field, tennis. And then, I’ve tutored and stuff like that.

I pretty much do because it makes you feel like you’re actually doing something that you don’t really expect anything in return. And, for example, what we just did, you know, it’s helping a lot of kids that cant really help themselves.

No, I think it was just the name because it was that weekend.

The Patriots … and I don’t know who else.

I learned that child hunger isn’t just in third world countries. I mean, its right in our neighborhoods, so that was kind of surprising.
