A tornado tore through Lawrence March 12, ruining numerous buildings. 60 percent of the University of Kansas' buildings were damaged, which devastated many wedding couples plans of marriage on KU's campus.

As the sun set over Rice Auditorium Monday night, members of greek houses and independents alike went crazy over scantily clad candidates vying for the title of Mr. BU. Monday evening in Rice Auditorium. The moon, and perhaps the audience, grew hazy Wednesday as members of greek organizations gave their best lip-synced impersonations of famous rockers and rollers.

The indie group stirs things up a bit on its first album in three years, which features 12 tracks of pulse charging, electronically augmented tunes.

­Plain and simple, diversity is an integral aspect of progressivism and the need to grow and expand. Currently, Baker University is making great strides at further integrating this campus. For the past several years, historically black fraternities and sororities have been trying to create a niche in Baker's greek system.

On Monday, thousands of people joined in a mass protest against potential tightened immigration laws. The participants stayed home from school and work, and many took to the streets to make their opinion known. According to the New York Times, one Chicago high school had only 17 percent attendance.
