The baseball season ended April 25 on senior day after a four-game split with the Avila University Eagles. The Wildcats finished last in the Heart of America Athletic Conference standings at 6-20, and did not make the conference tournament.

April 4 was one to remember for the baseball team. Baker captured its first conference sweep of the season against Culver-Stockton with wins of 4-0 and 4-3 at Sauder Field in Baldwin City. In the first game, junior Seth Jones threw his first collegiate no-hitter.

The baseball team took a break from a rough stretch of conference to play Wiley College on March 30. The Wildcats split a doubleheader, losing the first game 3-0, and bouncing back to win the second 8-3. In order to rest for upcoming conference games, most starters did not play.
