The baseball team split the first half of a four-game series with Park University Saturday, capping off game two with a Marcus Jones walk-off single to give the Wildcats a 3-7 record.

After a disappointing loss to Ottawa on Feb. 10, the Baker baseball team returned home to sweep the Saint Mary Spires in a doubleheader on Tuesday, Feb. 16.

For the first time since the turn of the century, someone other than Phil Hannon will coach the Baker baseball team. Baker University Director of Athletics Theresa Yetmar has announced that Ryan Goodwin will take over as head baseball coach effective July 1.
The baseball season ended April 25 on senior day after a four-game split with the Avila University Eagles. The Wildcats finished last in the Heart of America Athletic Conference standings at 6-20, and did not make the conference tournament.
The baseball team was swept for the second consecutive season against rival MidAmerica Nazarene University in Olathe. The Wildcats struggled to convert in the clutch, and the losses keep Baker in last place in the Heart of America Athletic Conference standings at 4-14.
April 4 was one to remember for the baseball team. Baker captured its first conference sweep of the season against Culver-Stockton with wins of 4-0 and 4-3 at Sauder Field in Baldwin City. In the first game, junior Seth Jones threw his first collegiate no-hitter.
The baseball team took a break from a rough stretch of conference to play Wiley College on March 30. The Wildcats split a doubleheader, losing the first game 3-0, and bouncing back to win the second 8-3. In order to rest for upcoming conference games, most starters did not play.
The baseball team won two out of three weekend games in Dallas. The Wildcats beat Harris-Stowe State in games one and three and lost to Morningside in game two. The Wildcats are now 5-6 on the season.
The Baker University baseball team took three of four games from Peru State College in the Wildcats’ final home series of the season on Friday and Saturday.
The Baker University baseball team began the conference schedule with six straight wins. Despite losing five of their next six conference games, the Wildcats remain optimistic about their season.
