The Baker University women’s basketball team improved to 10-5 on the season after upsetting No. 14 Benedictine College 69-56 on Thursday in Atchison.

Junior Kyrstie Ehm made three 3-pointers, leading the Wildcats with 20 points. Seniors Shea Shoemaker and BriAnna Garza joined Ehm in double figures with 13 and 10 points, respectively.

The Ravens are ninth in the NAIA with total 3-pointers, but BU held Benedictine to just 3-13 from behind the arc.

After the contest, both teams stand at 3-1 in conference play. Fifth-ranked MidAmerica Nazarene University leads the HAAC with a 4-0 conference record. BU will continue its HAAC schedule at 2 p.m. Saturday in Collins Center.
