Zeta Chi fraternity is hosting its annual Polyeuphony benefit concert on Friday. This year, the concert will be open for donations to the Special Olympics. The concert will be at 7 p.m. in Rice Auditorium.

“Loud Noises is going to perform, so it is kind of music and comedy,” Luke Miltz, Zeta Chi philanthropy chair, said. “A variety of Baker students are going to perform music and just provide a good time for everyone.”

Miltz said the overall purpose for the concert is to provide awareness and raise funds for individuals with special needs and for Baker students to have a good time.

“It will be a very positive atmosphere, because we want to create that environment here at Baker and give people a good opportunity to come out and support a good cause,” Miltz said.

Zeta Chi also hopes to host another Special Olympics event this month. Special Olympics International Global Messengers might come and share their experiences on campus on March 11. The organization consists of representatives and athletes from the Special Olympics with intellectual disabilities. No location has been chosen for this event yet.
