College Kitchen: Pumpkin Pie Puppy Chow

Ingredients Needed:

  • 3 cups of Rice Chex cereal
  • 5 ounces of white chocolate chips
  • ⅓ cup of pumpkin purée
  • 1½ cups of powdered sugar
  • 4 tablespoons of pumpkin pie spice

Instructions:

Step one: Combine 1½ cups of powdered sugar and 4 tablespoons of pumpkin pie spice in a big plastic storage bag. Close and shake to mix thoroughly, then set aside.

Step two: Melt the white chocolate chips for 30-second intervals until the chocolate is melted completely.

Step three: Once the white chocolate is completely melted, add ⅓ cup of pumpkin pie purée to the bowl and mix well.

Step four: Add 3 cups of Rice Chex cereal to the pumpkin and white chocolate mix and stir to coat the cereal almost completely.

Step five: Pour the coated cereal into the bag of powdered sugar and shake well until the powdered sugar coats the cereal.

Step six: Pour the mix into a serving dish or bowl and enjoy!
